Intramural Soccer

Fall Intramural

Fall Intramural provides an opportunity for kids to play soccer where other priorities take precedent. Intramural focuses on providing each child with a well-rounded soccer experience. The goal is to develop skills at all player positions and assist each child reach their best potential. This program is not about winning and losing games. Our purpose is for the children to have recreation, develop new friendships, and have FUN. Sportsmanship and learning the game are important.

Fall games are typically on Saturdays, and practices are determined by the coach.  The Fall season is usually August-early November. Practices may begin in August, and games begin the first weekend in September.

Spring Intramural

For Spring, games are typically Sunday afternoons for 6 weeks starting Mid-April.  There are no practices in the Spring and no games on Spring holidays.

Joint Intramural

UMSC and other local clubs usually do not have enough players in age groups U18 and above to have a complete intramural season, so we have joined together to create the Joint Intramural League. UMSC teams will play intramural teams from other participating clubs during the season. Games may be held at UMSC locations or may require travel to the other clubs’ fields. Games may be held on Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday. Teams may occasionally play 2 games in one weekend. While the Joint Intramural League may involve travel to other clubs, it is still considered an intramural league – not a travel league
